We have a flight sim at uni. It uses 3 projectors to make up what those 8 screens do and one lcd screen for the dials. It uses the usual flight yoke and pedal rudder. Probably cheaper to set up than 8 screens, just need the space on the wall.

8 screens is pretty impressive though! Cool

My system:Intel Q6600@3.6GHz, Corsair XMS2 4GB DDR2-6400 (4-4-4-12-1T) , Sapphire 7850 OC 2BG 920/5000, X-Fi Fatality, Corsair AX 750, 7 Pro x64

Not so much this year, but in my first and second year I used it most weeks. I can book it out for a mess around though. I currently use it for demonstrations for potential students interested in the uni. It is running FS9, it works for demos. We normally show phugoid motion and other dynamic stability theory. We let them have a go. It is hilarious watching people drive straight off the runway because they are not used to the pedals. We always have to turn damage off, they would snap the wings off otherwise! Grin

The people with a PPL enjoy it and really show off with it, always very entertaining to watch.
