Oh dear. Another six months it appears. First flight now Q4 2008 with delivery of the first production example to ANA Q4 2009. Still hoping to deliver 25 on 2009. I wonder how much money they'll lose on penalty clauses for late delivery? Huh

Sorry, but this does make me giggle, (though the company I work for has ordered 25). When the A380 was delayed, the Boeing "fans" all praised the 787 program along with it would not happen at Boeing etc, generally putting the A380 down (I am neither Boeing or Air Bus by the way).
This is the way of the development and production of modern aircraft. It is the norm now. Any date given out is a bean counters dream nothing more. It is something to keep the share holders quiet for a while.

Doesnt really surprise me, must be rather hard to streamline the whole process of building a aircraft and slappping dates on it. I can imagine seeing some pissed costumers though Grin
