The world of motor racing lost one of its greats, Jim Clark.
Just a shame most of us have to rely on old videos to see the greatness of Jim's driving.

I was reading about him today. He was on course to have been the greatest driver ever. Colin Chapman would put two totally different setups on the car and Clark would lap them at the same times leaving Chapman scratching his head wondering why he ever bothered.

Taken from ITV-F1.com;
He once tried out a 1930s single-seater ERA at a historic race at Rouen. The car’s owner Patrick Lindsay was on pole for the event but in his four-lap try-out Clark was faster – and faster than any ERA had ever gone around the circuit.

Quite a driver.
