Hi, I was looking at the clouds in the sky and how dark they were with the sun behind them, and thought I'd try to recreate that look. Please let me know how I did... and what I should have done
Original pic.
Better (I think) but still not satisfied.
Final result. I went a bit over the top with the blue sky, but otherwise I'm fairly happy....
If anyone knows how to do sunrays - or a link - I'd love to know....
Thanks for looking!
Krigl

Nice Krigl! That original shot is a beauty and good to work with. I think you wnet a bit overboard with the blue sky indeed... Try desaturating the sky a bit (maye a bit more than a bit
) and then putting a blue filter (maybe a cool photofilter?) over the whole image. Just thought-experiments here...
Thinking about the sunrays... I'm not sure but I might throw together a little tutorial on sunrays once my exams are over.
Will have to try some stuff out though...

Beautiful shots each with it's own special look. If you use PS m8 look for a freeware plugin called Luce. Will do just what you're after!

You giv'em a finger, they take the hand...
I'l do what I can mate, but I'm really busy lately and I have some other screenshot projects in the works and some I have yet to start working on. Sunray tute coming up in a few weeks (best I can do right now). Never made contrails, but could give that a try too. Will take me a bit longer though...
