Flight Sim Nation is Now Online!

Less than 30 days ago Flight Sim Nation was just an idea. Five of us, frustrated with the politics
of belonging to someone else’s community decided to break away and try something a little different.

We've completed the initial stage and are pleased to invite you to our new website at www.flightsimnation.com . Some of the starting features of the site include a page on getting set up to fly with us in our server, FAQ, Single player and online co-op missions (online play requires Acceleration) Flight Plans (Base FSX, SP1 and SP2 compatible) Forums with support area, Free downloads like scenery and aircraft from respected developers and of course the Gallery page with our videos and 3 picture galleries where you can send in your pics.

Our dedicated FSX Server has been online going through its paces for a few weeks and we've added some extra tools to ensure it runs optimized despite Gamespy's various issues. It's now moderated remotely by Flight Sim Nation guys so if we need to access it from anywhere in the world at a moments notice, we can.

To celebrate the launch of our site we're throwing a little door prize party that includes 4 Aerosoft Super Cubs, an Aerosoft DHC2 Beaver, the HIFI SIM - X GRAPHICS plus Active Sky Package, TweakAircraft for FSX – Aircraft Config File Editor and more. We're calling it Win A Wing Wednesdays and every Wednesday during the month of April we're giving away some sweet payware planes and software that we've purchased and are giving away to you. To enter all you have to do is make sure you're registered on our forums. We'll draw two random winners each week and send them their software and activation keys and or serial number.

What's happening in our server? Right now we've got a brand new carrier sitting in the Jaun De Fuca strait between the US and Canada. This carrier has been updated with high quality graphics, new movement dynamics to keep it steady and is frame rate friendly. Download the Friday Harbor Tour flight plan from our site and start exploring the area. Each weekend we will be hosting an event of some sort, this weekend is a short hop excursion in BC. You can also find our carrier easily on the site.
