Wow Shocked. This will go far, excellent shot Waspi! I love the effect on the aircraft and the sharpness of the ground textures. Also, looks like Nuclear winter has set in already Wink.

Best Of Luck!  Cool

Looks as if he deleted the textures for the AC? I'm interested in the excessive glare, maybe a tweek to the aircraft.cfg?

Im sure it isnt an edit Wink

Simple enough to say that I've stared at this picture way longer than I wanted to... Now I got a white spot burned onto my retinas...

A real different and special one from you in quite a while Wasp...
Good luck!

Let's be really careful about throwing the "E" word around. Particulary when it concerns as fine a screenartist as Waspi.

Great shot Waspi! No that problem is not a Vista problem, but a Thumbnail issue. If you don't have a thumbnail picture for your aircraft, unless it's a ture FSX model, it will push all the planes down leaving a picture of a default plane or other plane with a thumbnail picture.

Ahem, i think he's talking about the whole plane texture, not the thumbnails in the menu.
I guess its a problem of conversion of the BMP files when the plane was created in the GMAX Editor. The textures works well with FS2004 but wont shows up in FSX because the graphical engine of FSX dont recognize those BMP that were made for FS2004.
The only way to correct this is by conveting the BMP files with DXTBMP2 (Direct X Ten Bitmap 2) in the GMAX editor.

You can change the name of your aircrafts by editing, with the Notepad, the "aircraft.cfg" file found in each aircraft folder. Just change the name in the 'title'. Wink

Hope that helps!

And good luck waspiflab!

This is a very nice shot! Cool
