February 4, 1969, a true icon of the Cold War makes its final landing at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.  The surviving XB-70 (the second aircraft was destroyed in a midair collision with an F-104) is flown to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force at Wright-Patterson.

Actually one of, if not the first model kit i've ever overglued...and ended up with a handful of extra pieces....as usual...
