I downloaded the C172 repaint kit by Mark Rooks because I wanted to try a repaint for fs2004.  I have it pretty much figured out, but when I fly the plane my prop spinner is part shiny and part plain white. I used alpha channels in the C172_T.bmp file to get the prop chrome looking when the prop isn't spinning, but whenever the prop spins, half of the spinner seems to be replaced with white.

Here is a picture:

You can see that the tip of the prop is chrome looking like I designed it, but the back half of it is just plain white.

Here is a list of files that I have to work with:
C172_c.bmp
C172_D.bmp
C172_T.bmp
damage.dds
thumbnail.jpg

Are there more files then just these for the FS2004 C172?

I don't actually have FS2004, so I have to do my testing in FSX. I don't know if it makes any difference or not, you can see my results above.

I was going to try and make duplicate my most recent repaint (http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1206584160) from the FSX Cessna so that FS2004 fliers could have it too.

Is there a fix for this?

thanks,
markag

Well, I've got the repaint finished, I just need to get some help fixing the spinner.  In the meantime If anyone would like to try it out for themselves, i could put together .zip file and send it via e-mail.  I could use some "Beta testers" to try it in FS2004 before I would upload it. Just send me a PM with your e-mail address if you are interested.

The blurred spinner will be a different texture to the still

Perhaps it only textures the rear part of the spinner???

You need to find it and check it out.

I've circled the regular spinner texture, does anyone know if the blurred spinner texture is on here? Is it on a separate file? I only have the 5 files that I listed above.
