Judge Tom was crushed by The Eagles…. But bravely crawled in to finally pass judgment on the results of his competition:

The winner is a new boy, who is actually an old boy, with a great capture…..:

Ben J!!!!

...

CONGRATULATIONS, BEN J!!!!

In second place….and conveniently I didn’t even have to move this entry around on my ‘winners’ thread template’ or retype anything, just substitute the name of the shot, with a typically marvelous edit :

Mictheslik!

...

In third place, a man who’s very much a winner this month and week, with a winning composition that’s very fitting for this comp :

Mr Jake 2002!

...

Totally knackered by his avian buffeting, Tom would just like to wish you guys well and thank all for taking part….

The personal portfolios will be updated soon…. and I already have the new JC theme from Ben – that contest will be up tomorrow night, for 10 days, along with the new Screenies of the Month nomination thread for April. Hopefully we’ll see an Edit This result coming in soon from Mic too.

Thanks to all for taking part in our regular JC competition and making it work!!

And here it is...

As part of the RAF's 90th Anniversary flypast over London, the Avro Vulcan is joined by the Red Arrows, closely followed by the BBMF.

I tried to put it in after I put the BBMF in but recorder refused to play another flight! I think I reached it's limits. Also, my computer wasn't liking VisualFlight London + 12 aircraft, two of them payware.  Grin

No restrictions on any comp except for the big monthly one.

I chose to 'return' at just the wrong moment didn't I? This was a great theme and I would have loved....losing....to jake or mic.... Grin

Congratulations, winners!

Portfolio gallery updated... http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1177794744/0

BenJ has his first victory, and two shots now in the portfolio gallery.

MrJake2002 is still chasing that elusive 5th victory that will net him a second line for Judge's Choice screenies.... the second to achieve this amazing feat after Mic...

Mic now has a full 2nd line, and needs two more victories to start a THIRD!!

It's heady stuff guys, heady stuff.... Cheesy

Congratulations Ben! That is one awesome shot! Even though there's hardly any backdrop there are some very sweet dynamics in this shot; gear up just after take off and a nice spotters feel. The lighting is stunning and the aircraft blends beautifully against the clouds ...

And Tom: did you see the Eagles this weekend?
