Don't know just how well known this is - but I will speak up about it anyway. I noticed a small problem with the search feature - if you search for a keyword, and click back to look for something else, the search function is overridden upon hitting enter.

This means you have to click Search to reload said page, and the page doesn't exactly load quickly..hope this helps.  Wink

Works fine for me. I just tried it. The Search page loads as quickly as any others on this site. Maybe the problem is at your end. Which browser are you using?

QWhat are you doing?

I just trid it & it took less than 1 second to load - likewise with a search - less than a second to give a page of results.

What are your search terms?

Alos the problem could be your end or the net. Always try a tracert if you find you are unable to connect,

I use Firefox, and my connection is good enough to download from LA with at least 400kbps.

Edit: The search page loads quite quickly initially. I have noticed a slight delay from anywhere between 5-10 seconds while attempting to reload it.

And I am searching for threads on how to extract files directly from my FSX DVD - I forgot to backup some texture files while modifying them, and now need the originals off my disc. Using the words file and disc.  Wink

Ok - well let's hope you realise it would be ridiculous to search all if it's relating to FSX -  Wink

You need to restrict your search to a relevant time period.

OK now I need to see if I can reduce the search facility to a max time limit as anyone searching all threads is definitely asking fgor trouble.
