A 1,2 h drive... 2,5 hours ofe sixties music and beeing squished by hundreds of girls in front of the stage finally did lead to my first concert-shots with the 400D - Sigma 24-70 combo...
Small stage and bright lighting at the four corners made it hard, but I liked these...
I do need to see more female artists at work...

How do you get in to take the shots, do you request access forphotos from the band/venue first or do you just pay to get in and start snapping?

This was a very accesable event. I'm currently trying to get hooked up with a Belgian site that covers events. No money involved, but they do get frontstage acess for their photographers...
