After a trip to the UK for Easter I flew out of Stansted Monday. A few pictures to post. Sorry about the quality, but they where taken through very dirty, very thick glass.

Matt

PS If you are thinking about using Stansted to start or finish your trip, you should think twice. I unfortunately have to use this airport quite often. I have never met a more bunch of more unmotivated miserable people in my life and that of course has an effect on the way you treat your customers. Stansted you are nothing more than cattle that need to be pushed from the front door to the aircraft. Not a smile or please/thank you etc to be seen in the place.

Thanks for the peek. I've never been to Stansted.

Ryanair seems to have taken over. Perhaps the problem is with the airline employees rather than the airport.

I was referring to the airport employees, not Ryanair, I have never flown with them. I know that security etc have to deal with millions of people who want to get from A to B the fastest they can, but it does take more muscles to frown than to smile. When we came in last week, immigration, was "passports" and "which child is which". What a loverly welcome to the country.

I see that now after your second post. If you want miserable immigration & security staff try the US. LOL Shocked

PS. I even got a smile from the Customs people on my way through Gatwick last week. Probably thought "silly old sod" or perhaps they were trying to trick me. Wink

I wont even comment on US immigration, it will only get the thread locked Grin
As for Gatwick, it was probably a diversion tactic to see if you required a cavity search Shocked

It is the Boeing lead customer paint job. Air Berlin was the last customer to have this paint scheme, but when Air Berlin decided to go down the Airbus route, Ryanair jumped into the picture.

Is that the "have a bit of a discount if you have it in Boeing house colours" paint job? Wink

No we are running 737-300, 400, 700 and 800, Airbus A319, 20, 21. If you  take into account the LTU buyout, add 757, 767 and A330 too.
