This looks like quite a museum. Shame most of the exhibits seem to be outside.

Great set of shots.
I am very, very, very, very, very, very surprised that they have the swastika on the 109 and the 163. It is illegal to show it in Germany even for historical purposes. I worked at Duxford for a while many years ago, and when war birds flew to Germany for displays, it had to be blanked out. I also know of an instant where a UK based, German registered aircraft was refused initial registration due to a swastika on the tail.....and that was only a few months ago.......interesting.

You're right, registered planes in Germany are not allowed to have the swastika. But planes in a museum can have the swastika, however it is removed in most cases.
the legal situation:
Quote:
§86 StGB
[...]
[...]
that means that it is allowed to show anticonstitutional symbols for scientific, historical and informative purposes only and in art.

I'm glad to see that the Swastikas have been painted on the 109 and 163. It is all to easy to forget the nastier aspects of history, particularly if one ignores or destroys the evidence and reminders.
Looks a nice collection. As Doug says though, its a shame most is exposed outside - there are some rare airframes outside as well as in.
The Bf109G-2 is actually a 1948 Hispano example from Spain, which migrated in the 90s, had a DB stuck on the front and is apparently "being turned into a genuine 109". Mmmmm.
