thanks to jankee, I was able to find some literature on these planes. I am glad to say that this is my first real repaint, I tried to folow the plane as closely as i can.

this plane "jersey bouce" was flown by Lt. Victor D Iglesias. of the 357th Fighter Squadron.

take a look:  C&C is very appreciated Smiley

My nexty project is a plane called "big dick"   and "miss velma"Cool

There ya go, that's much better already!
One point, I don't think Jersey Bounce had a white tail, just bare metal, and you may want to play with the alpachannel a bit, to enhance the bare metal a bit.
Oh, and you may want to look at the font you're using for the registration. USAF Amarillo is close for the registration, and for the serial on the tail, there's a font called USAAF serial (stencil).

I never said they were perfect  Grin

1) I wasn't quite sure on that either, but I'll take another look.

2) I'm still trying to figure this one out, I'll take a look in the "painting for dummies" secion here in the forums

3) I'll have to see If i can download these for gimp. that was one thing that I was always stuggling with.

thanks for the ideas and tips!!

Looks like a black alpha on that last one

Just remove the alpha and it should be  back as it was before.
