Welcome in the wonderful world of repainting! It's a nice start, but why do you use more or less the same paint for two totally different skins?

That first one is not correct. From what I can see, all you did was paint the tail of a 4th FG p-51 red, the one we see later.. It has the same registration as your ill wind paint.
On your princess version, I am missing the name on the nose. The W should be on the tail, the HO where is W is now, and I'm not sure about the serial.
As for "ill wind", I believe you used the noseart that was on Capt Megura's P-47. I'm not sure about the white tail, the checkers and fuselage stripe either.
Sorry to be so critical, but I usually spend a lot of time researching the repaints I do, so I'm a bit of a stickler for accuracy.
What I suggest you do is pick a model for which there is a blank paintkit available, that way you can create your own, correct repaints without having to use or work around the pre-existing paints. As for information on the different paintschemes, there is heaps of info available on the net. If it is mustangs you're after, take a look here for a start: www.littlefriends.co.uk.
Good luck, I'm looking forward to your future work.

Smiley lastnight i did add the name, princess elizabeth was really the only one that I was concerned about getting correct, I plan on changing the serial today. the others were more of an, experiment. The Ill wind model actually was like that when i downladed it, I just improved the quality of the nose art.

you point is exactly what I'm going after now Smiley now that I know a little more about whats going on, I plan on making them as correct as i possibly can Smiley

thanks, thats exactly what i needed
