I have a few aircraft that have no icons on the panel for things like radios and GPS; although they have these features written into other parts of their files. I also have a few that have some functions tnot usually found in sim aircraft.

(i.e. an Aero Commander 500 that s a windshield wiper function accessable by keyboard that I stumbled across once but can't locate again.)

Would adding the default icons to the panel in the "Panel.CFG" files automatically make them active...that is would clicking on the icon bring up the various functions?

If the aircraft have functions that do not have icons on the panel, is there a way to look into the config files to determine what keystroke would bring up these functions? Sadly, some of the models are quite wonderful, but the documetation is sketchy at best.
