thing is, watching the incident live, it just looked like he ran too fast into the corner carried on and hit the rather high curb which would have been enough to shatter the suspension, there was no sign of anything breaking before hand, but then DC was looking round the back of the car afterwards. So talk about a minor thing visually causing a pretty nasty crash. More worrying was the tether holding the front wheel on snapped.
Red bull will be fine no doubt.

They (Red Bull) are putting the failures down to human error, on the cold adhesive that keeps the suspension together.
In winter testing they had no problems with "high mileage" parts and according to Autosport they will use them, as opposed to new parts so should be OK.
