A true visionary, not only was he a great Sci Fi writer (2001: A Space Oddysey) but he saw the use of satellites as a communication means long before it became reality.

And his Mysterious world TV series was a light hearted look at everything weird and wonderful, enjoyed by many, me especially  Smiley

RIP Sir Arthur.

Yeah, 2001 was really cool, saw it many times back when.  Well, we will miss him.  Just got the news right here, thanks for that.
