Hello!

Hi i'm new here and i've looked around and couldn't find what i needed.
I seem to have a problem with saving my repaint for fsx. I'm using adobe photoshop cs3. When i finish repaint i save it as 32 bit texture but when i open up fsx it shows as a shiny black. I have looked every where for a tutorial on how to save the repaint after done but can't find it. I am using the repaint model that the aircrafts manufacturer gave. It's in 32 bit and works and when i edit it in photoshop and save again as 32 bit it doesn't work. Can anyone help me out with this problem. Thanx.

get a program called DXTBMP it converts files, if your using a default FSX plane save as a DDS DXT 3 or 5 texture, that should work

Thanx tried that.... But it shows everything blurry. I read somewhere that dxtbmp is no good with fsx. If necessary I can take a screen shot of 2 aircrafts one with perfect quality and the other that i amde and converted with dxtbmp and you'll notice a big difference.

Thanx that helped. When u said convert to 24 bit and then to dxt i tried that and it looked better. Then i notcied the file was way too big and looked for tutorial on how i have to have dxtbmp setup and i saw that i had a few things enabled that i shouldn't. Got it working perfectly now.
