Hey!

I am having some trouble with the CLS (Commercial Level Simulation) DC-10 series payware install.  This is my first payware item and I already have a bad taste in my mouth for pursuing the PAYware.

I installed the base pack w/ all the models etc, as well as both paint packs, but when I load FSX, I only see the model floating, NO PRETTY PAINTS...

I tried to see if anything obvious was wrong but I couldn't find anything.  I should mention that I am running on FSX WITH THE ACCELERATION EXPANSION.  I don't know if this matters.  Please help me fix my paint problem!!

Tick 'show all variations' in the aircraft selection menu?

To be more specific (sorry), I only see the model when I LOAD a DC-10 model from the aircraft selection menu.  I actually tried flying one and the panel wasn't loaded either!  THIS IS RETARDED...

I do recall FSX asking me if I wanted to "accept changes" with a Yes/No box when I loaded it the first time.

Chances are, the CLS DC-10 may not be FSX/SP2/DX10 compatible.

Have you done research before hand on the subject, before making your purchase?

Does the website specifically state, "FSX Compatible", or do they just leave you with an assumption?

Have you tried contacting CLS about your problem and having them help you trouble-shoot?

I have SP2/Acceleration and the CLS DC-10 works just fine.  Don't get discouraged; the CLS DC-10 in my opinion is an excellent payware add-on.  Unfortunately, like many other aircraft, it is not compatible with the DX10 preview.  If you uncheck the DX10 Preview box in your settings, the texures will appear when you load the aircraft.

Read the manual. Press A to go to the 2d panel then turn ON the Virtual Cockpit.
