Hi
what I'm looking for, is an effective sound for fast modern jets like the Hornet. I'm currently using the Alpha Sim Viggen sound, which I think works well with the older jets, but I want is to simulate an approaching a/c [just sub sonic], with the barking rumble as it passes. Do you guys have any suggestions? regards Geoff Cox

No specific soundpacks spring to mind right now, so I can hopefully just direct you here: http://www.simviation.com/fssounds.htm

There may be something you like in there.

I've just watched a video called 'True Sound' on Simteevee which is exactly what I'm talking about. Sean thanks for your suggestion. I had a look, and will test a couple.

You can probably use that for a carrier based plane.

Give the net a search for "Real Deal" soundpacks by Christoffer Petersen. You won't be sorry.

Also, if payware is more your speed, head on over to Turbine Sound Studios. (They have a couple freeware soundpacks too)

Hope this helps. Smiley
