I doubt that this post will get any comments since the plane and locations are rather obscure, and many simmers I know have no interest in Russian aviation.......but I'll post this flight anyway!

Flight: Rostov-On-Don (URRR) to Sochi (URSS)

Aircraft: Project Tupolev Tu-154M (NATO Name: "Careless")
Livery: Yakutia Airlines

It's ironic that you should post these pictures today as I was just reading an article about the Tu-154 yesterday!  It sounds like one heck of an aircraft, being rugged enough to land and take-off from some rough and tumble locations.  Worldwide, it seems that the Tu-154 is also the popular passenger airliner where perhaps Airbus' and Boeing's are not as common (former communist allied countries and so on).

I also have a developing interest in Russian and Ukrainian aviation, but I have not done much flying there yet (in FS, of course).  I started studying Russian a little bit ago, and this is branching out into my other existing interests (aviation -> Russian & Ukrainian aviation; food -> Russian food; etc.).

Thanks for posting these shots!  I am not sure about anyone else, but I found them very interesting!  By the way, where did you get the aircraft?  Is it for FS9 or FSX?  Does it have a VC?  How well did it fly?  Are the instruments in Russian or English?

Thanks again,
Darrin

EDIT:
I just saw your links for everything!  Great stuff!  Thanks!
