Temperature at take-off was
-4°C (24°F),
and the wind chill was -19°C(-2°F), but the Yellow Birds fly at 85 kts (98 mph). The wind chill is way down there! So all I can say is...im glad I was in the Chippie!

Excellent!  Cool

You're just not worthy of an open-cockpit  biplane if you won't fly it in the winter...  Grin

Holy cow these are awesome!  You're having way too much fun.  You should submit these to AvWeb or AOPA or something.

Happy landings.  Cool

Loverly shots, but imagine being in that open cockpit and trying to hold up a camera to photograph the Chipmunk with that wind chill Shocked

Excellent set, looks like a beautiful day, if a bit chilly. Anychance of a set of the Bronco with Mattracks? Reminds me of a Landrover I saw in Scotland.
