I've been saying since before his debut season Nico would be something special, people at work especially didn't believe me, then his debut season turned out rather well if unspectacular.
However the last few weeks especially there's been a lot of talk and praise about the guy, Frank Williams in the article above, Mclaren trying to steal him for a rather large sum, and Ferrari have been reportedly talking to him about a seat after Kimi decides to retire.
But something that also caught my attention in an interview recently

Quote:
Q: Following the departure of ‘old hand’ Alexander Wurz, you got a new team mate - Kazuki Nakajima. As he is a rookie, will you bear the brunt of development work?
NR: I have become very strong over the years in that area. I really like it and I understand that it's important so I'm happy to take on more responsibility. I think it has been working well and together with the team we have had some good ideas and had some good progress lately. And Kazuki, of course, is fantastic, even with his limited experience. He makes very good comments about the car, which is the most important thing. Maybe he doesn't have the experience to know the big changes that you can do but as long as the base - which is understanding the car well - is there then that's already a big help.

There arn't to many number one drivers who enjoy that side of things and his whole response comes across as more senna/schumacher esque.
I know there's all this talk of Lewis this and Heikki That, but Personally I dont know if either could claim to be as complete as Rosberg had they started in a simmilar position.
Let's just hope he gets his wish and Williams find the performance.

Indeed, I had no problem with Lewis Hamilton to begin with. He was a nice personable kid, he ruined that at Monaco for me. I think the Ron dennis factor came into play there, so once he's gone and Merc shake the team up, I'll be happy for Lewis to win. Roll Eyes Grin

What did he do at Monaco?

He disobeyed team orders to maintain 2nd position and back off his speed in the race. Instead he chose to push as hard as he could to try and catch and pass Alonso. During this Lewis hit the walls several times risking his race result, the irony was Fernando wasn't even trying and still Lewis couldn't catch him. He then started making comments in the media which wern't bad as such but they were digs at fernando and the team, thats when Alonso started with his comments. All leading up to the hungary fiasco. I'm not defending Alonso, but he got an unfair amount of bad press last year, mainly from the british media most of whom haven't given a crap about F1 since Nigel Mansell retired, and Damon hill won the title.
Lewis isn't the little angel the british media likes to paint him as, and he certainly has Dennis' ability to work the media.

You seem to be searching for a heart of gold in F-1.  Now, as much as I like Neil Young, you will never find it.

I had better stop there, I'm angry about other things

Not at all, remember, Michael Schumacher fan. Wink Grin

What I dont like are drivers who think they know better than the team, even though it's only their 5th or so race. Wink

Schumacher worthy of a Neil Young song?!!  Person who DOESN'T try to know more than the team?  Schumi did know more than the team, as a matter of fact, isn't that one reason he left Benetton?
