Hello all, as you may remember I'm a model airplane guy....my latest addition to the fleet is the B-17G Flying Fortress. My dad just finished doing the same one, but he did his in the green paint scheme for Chow Hound. I however am a huge fan of the Aluminum metalizer paint from the Testors corp and Model Masters so I did El Lobo II.

The only thing left to do is put the wire antenna on the bottom of the fuselage and glue the bulbous antenna onto the bottom also. I would have done it tonight but I just finished painting the black walkways on the top of the wings and did not want to mess up the paint when trying to prop it up under some books and such to finish it.

Enjoy! Smiley

Cool. Reminds me of a 1/72 Monogram G model Fort I built when I was a kid.

Nice work Jarad. I am coming to the end of an Airfix build, the 1:24 Harrier GR3. If you are ever temped by this kit, all I can say is don't. It if the worst kit I have ever built...I think that the quality controller was out to lunch the day it was produced.

lol, thanks for the replies guys, it is of course another 1/48 reproduction..only thing I'm building or built that isn't 1/48 is the 1/72nd B-29 I'm building for a guy I work with who used to be a radio operator on the B-29 over korea Smiley

And thanks for the tip about the Harrier, I looked at it at one time, but since it wasn't 1/48 scale I decided against it Smiley

I am coming to the end of mine. I nearly binned it a couple of times, but I persevered. It is more filler than plastic. If I am happy with the outcome I may post a picture or two.
