There are a few of us who use this camera and I would like to pass on a tip.
One of the guys at work also has the same camera and when comparing pictures that we took on the same day I noticed that mine where not as good as his. The day was overcast and mine had that grey sheen to them.  I asked him what setting he was useing (the S5700 has so many). His answer was somewhat surprising...........The answer was, the default Night setting. Apparently it is perfect for overcast days and helps to eliminate the grey sheen. I gave it a go and it worked. So I can only say, give it a go and see what you think.

Natural light is my setting of choice, but for those overcast grey days, the Night setting is what I use. Saying that, I always make a test shot first just to see if it is better than Natural light.
