My first airport I made, totally from scratch.

...
My Aurora flying over 5 of the 8 active runways.

...
After landing, I had to sit and look at all the bushes. Does anybody know any freeware software that will remove plants/all the stuff, flatten terrain and add buildings?

Cheers

I ran into the same problem when making a airstrip in Kamchatka, I think you need Runway 12.

Is it payware? Cause I need tree and building removal quick for my new CFB Chetwynd. And also, anyone here know how to make flightplans for AI and AI packs?

To remove trees and such, look for a program called ExcBuilder v2.0. Works great and it's pretty easy to use. To add buildings RWY12 would be just the ticket. Both are freeware. (Nice job BTW) Smiley

Thanks, although there are a few problems, For the ExcBuilderV2, it says I need a few .dll files, namely MSSTDFMT.dll, where could I find that? Google it or something? And with RWY12 the icon doesn't work, it says that the file can't be located or something along those lines.

Thanks, I was thinking of uploading it to the V once I'm done it, seeing as it's full of a bunch of fun runways (8 of 'em I think) long ones too.

Google it or something?

Or something Wink

or something along those lines.

First read the README file and make sure you understand it. Then if there is something wrong I think you should be more specific ... if you want us to help us be as detailed as possible and include screenshots. Describe the exact error message and tell us what you did before you got that error and how you installed RWY12. It really is a fantastic tool that basically runs out of the box. However, you do need to read the readme file or RWY12 does not function.

Unfortunately Mr. Kahn passed away so I'm not sure if there will be any updates anymore Cry

You might also want to check the 'Scenery Design' board.

long ones too

with bushes?? Grin

If you need help with AI just ask. I'm not an expert but I know a little to get one or two birds in the air. It's not really easy but if you put a little effort into it you can get amazing results. Just looks at any of Ivan's post ... he has the most amazing traffic system you've ever seen and he does it all by himself

Nice one Harold.:cheesy

Wicked, I've got no more bushes and I'm adding buildings as I write this. I've got everything working and I've already got teh entire VF-31 flying in and out and doing touch and go's every like, 4 hours and I've got a bunch of F-15's and C-130's there too. Traffic Changer is an awesome tool and it's super easy to use.

I've seen some of his and it's totally insane. I don't even want to know how long it takes. Most of my time is spent doing AFCADs now. I'm redoing a bunch of airports on teh island here.
