On my way back to Asia.  Had to make a quick stop in Europe though.

Lufthansa 419 Heavy nonstop Dulles to Frankfurt. 

Safety demo playing as we taxi to the runway.  So far everything is looking good, nearly a full load tonight with 320 passengers, pushed back right on time at 6 PM.

Current time is 6:20PM as we turn onto the active.

Awhile later we find ourselves over New York, supper is being served and looking to be a pleasant flight.  ETA is 7:40 AM

7:00 AM and a little light is just appearing on the horizon.  Flight attendants finishing the last bit of cleanup after breakfast and doing a final sweep of the cabin as we get ever lower.  Quite foggy below us but Frankfurt is expected to be clear skies.   

Flight attendants heading for their seats as we make a pretty smooth approach to runway 7L.  ETA is now 7:20 AM.

After a picture perfect landing we found out there was no gate to park at.  Ended up on a remote stand, beginning to unload the cargo bays while waiting on the stairs to unload the passengers.  Total flight time 7.4 hours.  Welcome to Germany
