Judge An-225 has checked out all the wierd and wonderful birdies that his competition brought out of the woodwork, and chosen his three favourites...Take it away An!!

The winner - 1.

Krigl.

...

Atmospheric. The clouds are lit by a soft glow, and the NATO bird banking against the snow offers an interesting perspective.

2.

Fighter25.

...

Very interesting subject. Attention has been payed to the scenery (notice how the most detailed parts of KEDW are shown?), and the weather is dramatic, and gives you something to look at.

3.

Mictheslik.

...

Judge An-225 has spoken and Krigl has been informed. It's been a while since he last judged...so he's going to give it a go. Smiley

I understand that the new competition will be up later this evening....

Well done to all who took part - hope to see you all in the next competition!

MrJake, the VC-10 is allowed.

And good choice of aircraft Tweek, that is a perfect example of an odd job/mission.

No kidding!!

While stationed at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, I saw an AC similar to this one landing. The nose cone (all black) really stood out. Only saw it once.
