I tried scaling it up using Photoshop and a program called Genuine Fractals for you.  It's not really great, but better than the small one.  I don't really dare go much larger...

Gulfstream read you the riot act because you made a flightsim model of their airplane? Oh, for cryin' out loud!! I'd be honored if one of my products was featured on a sim site visited by thousands of people all over the world. Talk about free advertising...

Thanks, Felix. Those will work fine...

Gulfstream has been adamant about not licensing their intellectual property for use by third parties.  I do know of respected payware developers that have presented their case to Gulfstream, but as of yet, have not been allowed to produce payware flightsim models.

Freeware?  I am not aware of Gulfstream going after freeware models, but then, I would not be surprised that a discreet communication might not have been passed.

Other manufactureres are either more tolerant of the flightsim hobby, or, in some cases, as we've seen, actively support certain developers with reasonable information and licensing.

For a commercial developer, a good model can be delayed because of licensing issues.  Oh, and just because the manufacturer isn't around, doesn't mean that there are no issues.  As the industry evolved, companies bought one another out and/or merged, so that that, for example, Douglas Aircraft  is  now is part of the former " Pacific Aero Products Company", currently one of the world's largest airplane manufacturers. ...
