Excuse my noobness...but Is there somewhere that tells what to install first of the three parts (two parts + downloader)? I don't want to botch this up too bad. Seems part one is the program, and you should run that first. Does it take care of the second part, or do we have to run it ourselves? Sorry, it just seems a little confusing to me!

Hi Steve
please post support questions over at the flight1 site
I will give you directions here but further instruction should be directed from there
Its quite simple
create a folder named GEX install
download this and install it...
http://www.flight1.com/F1Download.zip
download this file,
http://66.135.39.111/flight1/GEX-USA-CAN-eN.zip
unzip it and place the GEX-USA-CAN-eN.ddf file into the folder you made above
Run the F1 download tool and browse it to the ddf file in the GEX Install folder you made... the tool will ask you where you want the data file... brose it to the same install folder
the download will start... 1.7gig so it will take a while
last, download and place this file
http://flight1.100megabyte.com/GEX-USA-CAN-eN.exe
in the folder
after the download of the main data file is complete, you now have 3 files in that folder... the ddf file, the EXE file and the 000 data file...
run the exe file and follow the directions for purchase and install

payware 29.95... and it needs nothing else but if you add landclass files and other add-ons such as UTX it works even better

Nick: I know its a commercial question, but is GEX to be available on DVD at anytime.
I have just upgraded and can't locate UTX Canada and USA. If they had been on disk they would have been a cinch to reinstall, now I have to go through the slow and painful task of getting Flight1 to supply the keys, -also GEX and FEX on disk would make life a lot easier and safer, given the frequency of reinstalls that FSX has required.
And these download sizes are beginning to test all but the best and fastest cable systems.

Oh Nick, and sorry for the extra question. I take it GEX enhanced, is simply the GEX now available for purchase from Flight1.
I want to join those handsome dogs.

Yes, it is going to press next week as I recall
FT1 keys are easy.. they have a page on their website where they email you the key if you lose it.. takes a few seconds
http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=18204
as for GEXn ... website is still being updated.. get it here
http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=24993
we have been getting nothing but RAVE reviews... many vet pilots now stepping up to post FSX is now looking as it should, as real as it gets.
I love those dogs... one of my all time favorites for gag banners

Nick maybe you could help me on this one?
I really wanted to get GEX but I only use internet @ work. That means I download content/installers onto my laptop, cut the content/installers onto a memory stick.
I then install the content onto my FSX PC @ home. I live in a country where telecomunications expenses are absurd.
Now I noted that once I have downloaded the installer and paid for it, I still require online activation.
Does that mean i am doomed? I there a CD version of this most wonderfull program I can bought?
Thanking you.

Can someone point me to a thread that lists the suggested landclass file addons for GEX Enhanced?
What timing, I went and purchased GEX on 2/10 without knowing about GEX Enhanced, read about and downloaded GEX Enhanced on 2/11 and tried it out yesterday morning and last night. Some of the best money I ever spent on FS addons.
