question about WOAI (Read 875 times)

i was wondering if load up WOAI aircrafts into my FS9 do i loss my general aviation aircraft like i did when i was running FSX?

No, you won't.

WoAI only adds airlines to your sim. It self installs so there is no chance of a mistake.

thank you.... i just remember when i was running FSX i installed the airlines with WoAI and it rewrote the AI file and i lost all my default general AC AI's...so i just want to be sure before i download and load them into FS9

The reason you lost the AI in FSX is that the WOAI traffic BGL files are
FS9 format, compatible with TTools. In FSX, if an FS9 format traffic
BGL is present, the FSX format BGL traffic files are disabled.

You must run the WOAI, or any other traffic BGL created with TTools,
through one of the conversion utilities to put them into FSX compatible
form. Then they will co-exist just fine with the default FSX files.
