I installed My Traffic X from Aerosoft and there is traffic at the gates but I don't see anything taking off or landing, or flying around.  Any ideas?

I left FSX/Acceleration installed, but unistalled MTX, then I ran my hard drive cleaner, reboot 3x, ran cleaner again, reboot 3x, complete defrag, reboot 3x, installed MTX, reboot 3x, and it's run fine ever since.

Thanks.  I do see aircraft at the gates and I actually watched one take off & climb.  It looks like the Board is populated.  I'll try flying with the aircraft labels on and see what happens.

P.S.  I'm not a computer guy either-I just learned about hardware last year. Cheesy

LOL.  I just had a nervous breakdown, really, because my system decided it wouldn't boot anymore until I took out and switched around the DIMMs about a dozen times.   Angry

I had pictures in my head of a black box with a pile of smashed up componants and smashed up plastic fans.  Now I'm writing this post.  Grin

If you have airport vehicles on it may take a few minutes before you see any action at the airport.  The planes go through a pre-flight phase first.  The incoming may take a few minutes longer to begin arriving.

It certainly helps.  Like their site states, MTX settings at 16% is equal to 100% of the default FSX traffic.  So basically you get much more AI traffic at the same performance level.

What I like about MTX is that their AI is mostly compiled using the proper FSX SP2 format.  That's their claim.
