Went on a school trip today, to odly enough, the Imperial War museum, for our coursework. Got some shots to share, although i couldnt get photos in all areas for sensitivity reasons( e.g in the Holecaust exhibition, for reasons i hope you understand - a truly moving experience
) and also as the lighting was so poor!
Still processing a lot of them, as a date stamp was added, which i am working to remove from all of them, however i'll fire away with what i already have done!
Inviting...
The caption on this one reads - "There were great numbers of young men who had never been in a war and were consequently far from willing to join in this one"
The lesser known of the two air raid shelters, a Morrison shelter(or a big metal cage to the rest of us!) aptly named after the Minister of Home Security of the time Herbert Morrison
A good old V2 rocket, the V stands for Vergeltungswaffe or Revenge weapon
Nice proper WW2 fighter, hanging gracefully from the ceiling, amongst the other planes
Something a bit older, much more WW1 than WW2!
Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed, as an when i get some others processed i'll upload these as well. Now back to writing coursework!
Cheers
Fsnovice (very tired, very early start to get there!!!!

Nice silhouette of the Spit
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
