Hi i have purchased a 8" touch screen monitor purely for displaying the fmc. The problem i'm having is that after i have undocked the fmc and slid it across onto my touch screen i can't press any of the buttons because the clicks are registering on my main monitor instead of the touch screen
another example of my problem is when i am at the desktop and i wiggle my finger on the 8" touchscreen, the mouse cursor on my main monitor is moving.
any ideas or programs that u know of to allow seperate mouse control on 2 monitors that don't interfear with each other?
hope this isn't to confusing to read
Ian

Seems like the touchscreen is registering as a regular mouse. Im assuming you are using dual outputs on a video card? or two video cards? Unless there is a software utility out there you may have difficulties making it work.
Basically a touchscreen is either a serial connection or USB and is recognized as a normal mouse by the computer. Is there any utilities that came with the monitor?
Find out what type of touch panel you have and see if there are drivers that work for that particular model here is a resource you might find helpful:

P.S. Be wary of the drivers mentioned in the link they might not match up with your touch screen.

hi thanks for your reply, the monitor runs from a single graphics card with dual output it also connects with a usb cable, I have managed to get the fmc on the 8" screen and can slide my mouse pointer off the right hand side of my main monitor to the touch screen to be able to click the fmc buttons but as soon as i try to use the touch screen the mouse pointer jumps back across to the main monitor.
