The following was posted on the AVSIM editors forum by a very close friend of mine. I was wondering if anyone here has heard of any similar problems with FSD?

I would really like some opinions on this from the editors or anyone else, what would you do in my situation? Recently (December) I purchased my second “add-on” from FSD-International (Piper Seneca). From the start, I had some problems with the installer, and could never get the repaints to install. The FSD C400 I had worked perfectly, but the Seneca did not. Acting on their advice, I tried to re-install the Seneca, and everything went bad! Even the C400 cratered! When I sent them the “error code” generated by their installer, I got back a message accusing ME of stealing their entire line of software by using a “key generator”! Not only had I never used such a thing (and never would), but the only software I had run during this process was THEIR installers! I’ve tried to explain this to them, but they insist that I was trying to steal their software! Understand, I’m no hacker, not even close. I’m over 60 years old and spent over 30 years as a law enforcement Officer. This incident, and FSD’s attitude, has me very hurt and upset. I also have NOT asked them for a rebate of what I paid them, or anything else. All I have asked for is an apology, but that to has been refused. Seriously, what would, could you do if you were in my place? I don’t know how or why their installers generated those codes, but I do know for a fact that I have NEVER used a “key generator” and never downloaded any of their products other than the two I purchased, but I can’t prove something that didn’t happen!
