these are just some suggestions of passes you could fly,  of course a high speed pass, a low approach, touch and go,  flat pass, photo pass, a high speed climbout(to departure maybe, not sure how long the runway is)..only so much you can do in concorde.  You could possibly do a overhead break and pitch out away from the crowd.

Don't do silly maneuvers, it ruins a show when people do things that are completely wrong like that.

ok overhead break is a level pass over the runway where you break from your path to the right or left depending on which way the crowd is.....which aftee the break you perform a 180 degree turn to return down the same runway  that you broke off of.  Flat pass is just your generic everyday down the runway where all you do is fly down it.  A photo pass is a pass that you arc the crowd line.   say you start from behind and to the right where you arnt over the crowd, you kept pulling the stick until you pass directly in front of the crowd to where you end  your pass behind and to the left

Here is kinda a pattern thing so maybe you can understand it better

Overhead:                                      --------------->
                                                       \
                                                          \
                                                               <-----------------
or opposite if you want

Flat pass:

 ---------------------------------------------------------> exit showline

Photo pass:

           < --------------------------------------------------------
       /                                                                               \
                        That straight line is supposed to be a arc, but its kinda hard to do that with keys.

...but the Show Time (7:00 PM GMT) is rather close to the regular Saturday 8:00 PM GMT Tours, and as I always join the Week-end Tours, I always worry in case they overlap!... Cry...!

What is the chance that the Air Show will be completed before 8:00 PM GMT...?

Whats the amount of time were going to have to do what we want? I think all i may have time for is a high climbout, high speed pass, a touch a go and full stop landing.

this is just my opinion, but the more time you can spend in front of the crowd the better.  Can anyone convert the start time to CDT and EDT please?  Im not brilliant in those regards lol.

I believe I am GMT -5 at this point in the year, so it would be noon my time and 11am your time.

Here's the pitts. It works in fs2004.
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb2.cgi?section=props&file=FSXPittsS2S.zip

And the L-29 which also works in '04
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb2.cgi?section=military&file=L-29jetn.zip

I uploaded a repaint I made for the L-29 that I will use in the show to avsim today. I will give the link as soon as its available Smiley

I'm afraid I'm going to have to pull out due to unforeseen circumstances. I may still show up to spectate but I probably won't be in the display program. Sorry.

Ok I'll use Aerosofts Super Cub and for those of you who don't have the Super Cub you can download this aircraft http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=57792 and then I'll switch to the Super Cub. Also I have no mic so I'll have to use the chat window in FSHost for communications Cheesy

Would be better if it was a bit shorter. If you want, I can fly some passes in the DC-3 while you turn and line up (I imagine it takes a while in Concorde).

Yeah if you want Jake, because that was at 250- 300 knots so i wont be able to get it much shorter. Maybe if you takeoff whilst im on Downwind leg or visa versa.

What am i doing uopn the final full stop landing as landing is going to leave me at opposite end of runway. Shall i just go to the grass viewing area or backtrack so people can get one more glimpse  Grin

Cheers,

Carl
