My girlfriends concert-buddy couldn't get together with her due to press-obligations, so I was the chinese volunteer to go to another show including her beloved singer. As the show was the end concert of an actor-becomes-singer contest I didn't expect much. But there were quite some nice women around. I couldn't resist to share these with you guys...
As usual, the best I could do without a decent f2.8 lense for my Canon...
Cheers,
Omag

Not just that, but shutter and aperture?

Panasonic Lumix FZ5 - Iso 200 - shuttertime-program - shuttertimes 1/50 to 1/30 ( aperature depending on the focal length - 2.8 - 3.5)
450 shots - about 40 good ones in the end... the others are, well... crappy...
I'm thinking of getting a concert-lens for my Canon. Either a primelens ( canon 85 mm f1.8) or a zoomlens ( Tokina 50 - 135 mm f2.8 or Sigma 50 - 150 f2.8). I'm still researching on that investment...

All of your shots are excellent Kris, but the concert ones always stand out a bit more than the rest.
I look forward to seeing some from your Canon
P.S. lovely girls...again

Probably because I'm the only one posting this kind of shots around here. Believe me, these are fine, but nothing compared to the work of more experienced and better equipped (non-professional) photographers I know.

I know how you mean that Kris, I shot this a few yrs ago when Wendy and I took a cruise and tried to bring back some shots of the onboard live Broadway play......nothing major, but it is quite hard to capture, even with a 1.8 lens. This was my old 2mp Olympus..........took lots of crappy ones to come home with only a few acceptable ones........
