Another shot from FSX, this time over ketchikan, alaska, using the afs-design typhoon and nickn's sun fix, which I now love, contrary to earlier reports from myself.
I intend eventually to make this shot one of a set of 4 which will be posted in the payware section. I have 2 of the 4 shots I need at present...
Anyway, down to business.... as before please give a rating just so I can get a good feel as to how I'm doing and how much I need to improve.
Thanks in advance guys...

I don't like the cirrus layer of clouds...Perhaps tweaking the camera angle just a bit

This was the fixed tail view where the only variation I get is panning... but I take your point.

I like this shot - but the camera angle does somewhat hurt my brain
Contrary to what Ashar said, I like the cirrus layer of clouds.
Perhaps some afterburners would make a better image?

It's a nice shot, but I agree with Ashar. The cirrus is very unrealistic, and too clearly made up of tiles.

Well this was a spur of the moment shot - it wasn't set up - but I do see where you're coming from.
Stewie, believe it or not, those are the afterburners. For some unfathomable reason, the burners get darker as the day gets darker...

I think we can all learn a thing or two about pushing the perspectives limit from this pic. All the individual visual elements may not be totally realistic, but as a complete package, this pic is DA BOMB! Moody, unique and rich in color and focal points. BRAVO!
