Here are some pics using my new dual monitor setup. The wifey decided she wanted the 60" dlp to stay in the living room. This was the compromise.

The larger area wile flying gives me some motion sickness, especially cork screws in a Hawk Tongue

I should be able to build a nice frame around them to give the impression of windows, this should give a nice effect.

Looks good... the gap in the middle is jarring at first, but heck, so many planes have a frame section there anyway, it's no big deal for a straight-ahead view.
It would be annoying in VC mode, though... for me, anyway.

Any problems setting up the Maxtor?

Move the pilot's viewpoint in the aircraft config file to correctly reflect the physical layout of the pit.  I have my viewpoint shifted left ....and it works to give a more realistic impression of the aircraft nose and the centerline.

Yeah the centerline is most distracting on final, and thanks John for that advice, I  need your expertise on how to do that.

The Dual Head works great, there is a hit on system performance, especially during extreme weather. But scattered and clear skies are very flyable. The major advantage to Matrox is using both outputs on the video card really puts a strain, I was getting artifacts & complete blackouts, the Matrox seems to take some of the load of the card & I haven't had any issues.
