And give it a rating too if you want; it's a good way for me to judge how well I'm doing, so although it won't count towards the actual rate this system of putting high-rated shots in the gallery, ratings would still be nice.

Seriously though, I'd give it an 8/10...If you had moved the viewpoint just a little higher up, it would've been great IMO

Do you mean raise the altitude or move the camera higher? Wasn't sure, sorry.

8/10,
the clouds in the upper right corner seem distracting to me, other than that, straight up!

disable that bloom effect and use the extra 5FPS to boost your scenery!! download NickN's sun effect for a good sun! brilliant add-on seriously!!
to give it a rating I would have to say 7.5/10
- I hate FSX bloom effect, looks pants and reduces performance too much for a slight improvement! that only works half the time
- Lack of detail in clouds in upper right detract from the over all quality of the shot
- too much of the aircraft is cut off for my liking (minor thing i know but hey)

That sun effect really doesnt seem to work for me, looks absolutely nothing like the screenshots...! I basically just get a white circle, no rays etc...
Don't know if its just my graphics card/drivers...Because i don't see how i could have installed it wrong!
I'd go for 7. Really like the angle, but the horizen looks very odd, and the scenery isn't perfect!
Very nice shot though mate, thanks for sharing

I had already thought about getting that; bear in mind I've only just transferred to FSX and I have very few add-ons at all yet... but nonetheless where could I find this sun fix?

The flat horizon ruins the shot as it doesn't give a very good sense of realistic appearance.
Good composition though,

Be thankful that there's some curvature in it unlike in FS9 where the horizon is laser edge
