Those are good shots but I would like to see more "blur" on the propellor.

To do that switch the camera to Tv and manually adjust the shutter speed down towards 1/60 until you get the look you want. The shots will not be "brighter" because of the longer shutter open time because the camera will compensate.

If you are shooting moving water you do the same thing to get ~~thr~~ the illusion of water flowing instead of a stop action shot.

I think 1/60 is a little dramatic, and will result in the whole picture being blurred (unless you have a very steady hand for panning) I find about 1/250 is about right Wink

OK, I think I'm getting the hang of this...

If you're on shutter priority mode the aperture should compensate for the lower shutter speed.....however, you may need to use exp compensation aswell generally...I find that in direct sunlight I need to compensate down about 2/3 but in grey weather I need to go up about 2/3.....just experiment
