I have ran a small gaming community before now (mainly Source games) and I'm a DCL in a separate gaming community at the moment.

I am basically looking for someone to balance the workload, so we can list our servers, members, and matches. 

There isn't much else to the clan apart from the people who are part of it, and the games we play. You don't get kicked out if you don't turn up for a match, if you don't make it, you don't make it to the match. A "match" is just a period of time where other people may be on. We won't officially take on other clans (that in a way leads to arrogance, which 90% of other clans out there are full of). Applications are short and sweet, you ask to become a member, you become a member.

Now, we also need some people who can start a server for the other games (Battlefield 2/142 unranked and Counter Strike). I will start up a Call of Duty 4 server. 

So, a1 and J, would you guys like to become clan staff, to help balance things out?

only problem with having our own servers is time differances, and pings! a uk player can not play on a Aussie BF2142 player, kicked for a start and being able to hit anything would be impossible!!

im not willing to dish out any cash for this (and if i do not too much) so how about we just compile a list  of say 3 or 4 servers for each region that are good to play on, and if we get enough people interested then look into getting servers for the regions that have enough members to spread costs.

i still say we should all play WoW.... ping doesnt matter

Well, looks like the server for CoD 4 won't run. It doesn't show up in the server browser...

any work on X360 compatibility yet???

their should be some dedicated server files on the internet or in the games install, because otherwise web servers wouldnt be running.

thats weird, game devs are stupid these days.

Well I'd probably say a 20 slot BF2 and a 20 slot CS:S would be nice although there might be some debate over whether the second should be CS:S or CoD4.

I don' t think any of us will mind if it is ranked or not. We'll just have the settings as Ranked o be fair. Good to go off the competitive mode for once.

so who do i contact in terms of servers, ie whos going to be incharge?

CSS gun game server 16 slot would be awesome

where are these game servers going to be hosted (country)

for 56 slots...how about 20 CoD4, 20 BF2 and 16 CSS.....

I have XP Pro so VOIP does not work on my BF2 for some reason. I'll download Teamspeak. Lets all use Teamspeak to be easy.

Yes, there should be a mod selection.

Double check you are booting up vanilla BF2 a1.

try repatching to 1.41

yes, try getting it from gamershell.com, they normally have fast speeds,

though the best thing to do is not to delete it after you have installed it

upgrade the teachies to tech2

then updgrade ur commander to tech2,

then the same to tech 3

on the way u have to build 2 tech 2 power gens and a mass fabricator or you may run into some super low resources while building hte first tech 3 structures.

try a total reinstall, beacuse mine works fine

Is there much activity going on in the BF2 and CSS servers? I would like to make sure they are populated, before giving the CoD server some attention.

Could the CoD4 server be on version 1.4?

#1: I can't connect to the CoD 4 server. It says bad IP address. i am using version 1.4.

#2: BF2 seems so old to me now as I have CoD 4. I can still play it but just without any mods like the PR mod.

yeh the reason you can't connect a1 is because the server has been taken down, i can only guess due to lack of use but if we got it back i'd use it

Hey guys, im playing Day of Defeat(HL mod, like CS) on steam, my steamID is casdewit@xs4all.nl Im also in for CS:S and anything else that has to do with HL . Also BF2 veteran, day one player .

why didnt you just buy it off steam?! the fact that its easier.. and you need steam to play online anyway...

No buddy wins me in CS  :evil, I used to have my own server of course is limited to the area of southamerica and caribean ,far than that became to lagg, Brazilian Hates me LOL
