This is my 747-8 Intercontinental I just downloaded which is taxiing to the runway at Charles-De-Gaulle for a short hop to Heathrow and an artist's impression Cool Cool  :grin :grin Smiley

Also, the Autopilot seems to be malfunctioning (refused to hold 20000ft, had to take manual control. Does anyone have a solution to this?

A snail walks into a bar and the barman tells him there's a strict policy about having snails in the bar and so kicks him out. A year later the same snail re-enters the bar and asks the barman "What did you do that for?" Smiley

Hi Liam,
Welcome to SimV!

I think you're actually one of the very few people who actually read the rules and adhere to them in the first post. I congratulate you on that. Everything is in order which is quite a rarity for first time posters.

Your screenshot is quite nice, but it does lack some action. If you had thrown in some clouds, it would've been nice. Also, the progressive taxi line may have been turned off. It simply detracts from the image. Lastly, you can use a Image editor (such as Irfanview) to save the image at a higher quality. Remember you are allowed upto 150KB. Your image is slightly above 56KB. Quite a lot of room for quality.

Stick around and eventually, your simulator will look beautiful!

Best,
Ashar  Smiley

Welcome Liam! I agree with everything Ashar said. I can see you like Jumbo jets, right? Great! The second shot looks like an advertisment from Lufthansa, I like it.

Cheers Smiley

One Q.... WHERE!?!?

Have been trying to keep track of the 748 model build for some time now. Didn't realize it's been released!

You can get it from www.flightsim.com (where I got it) Cool Cool. you need to sign up though (its free). You may be able to get it from www.simviation.com also which doesn't require a membership.

There are a couple out there now, on A**im. The first came out a couple of months back and there was another one posted there the other day. The first one (I think by Andy Roesch) looks better to me, and it has a working (if basic) VC.

Don't have the links to hand - not on my own computer - but you can search on the author's name.
