Well, I just finished my new rig, Vista 64 bit, yada yada yada......Reloaded IRFanview, SP1,SP2 loaded to FSX, got the "raw"sim, no payware stuff, just the straight sim where I want it. Snaped off a nice shot, got out. Found it where it should be in Fanview. Went to downsize the image. No problem.

When I went to save it however, the tab that used to pop up for the compression didn't show. So it's letting me save shots to where ever I want but not letting me compress them to V specs.

Where did it go? How can I compress if it's not bringing it up as it used to? Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas?

Really looking forward to getting back into the screenshot bizz. Thanks in advance for any input on this problem.

Did you change the format you were trying to save it as to .jpg? Only if this was your first use of irfanview since installing it the default may have been set at saving as a .bmp... just a thought... Wink

The possibility exsists. I will look into it when I get home tonight. Thanks.

Are your save settings arranged as shown here - especially the 'jpg - jpeg files' in the lower box?

If they are, and the slider bar still isn't showing up, then I'm not sure what the problem could be.
