My computer is an Insignia D400 2.8ghz 512MB RAM Pentium 4 w/ an ATI Radeon 9250 256MB graphics card, running FSX standard.

The problem seems to be with scenery objects.  I don't know what caused the problem, but the best way to describe it is to show you:
...

How do I correct this?

I've reset my graphics to the defaults, same with FSX.  I didn't have any luck with it.

Has no one seen this kind of screens come up in FSX?

I might be wrong here, but I think your card is only DX8.1 compliant.
(I think FSX must have a card that supports at least DX9)

Is this the first time you've tried using FSX on this machine, or was it working before, and it just started flipping out on ya?

It just started flipping out.  I've looked at a lot of sites and found that it should be DX9 compliant.  The wierd thing is it only happens in FSX.

The only things that I did was to upgrade to sp2.
