When i try to repaint things or use a repaint kit for almost any aircraft. I really want to use the 747-400 repaint kit but when i open the textures for editing it says drawing failed and it when i try to open it with an editing program it says "invalid parameter". Please help.

Hi. The textures are probably in an Extended BMP format. You need DXTBmp to convert them for editing. http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/programs/dxtbmp.htm

same as hagar said download DXTBMP, you can use a kit or you can use the default in its white texture, if you use the default BACKUP THE DDS FILES!!!! then save to extended 256 or a viewable DXT format to edit
