Just read up on NVidia's proposed Hybrid system. If I understand it correctly, using a motherboard with the proper (750a, 780a) NVidia chipset, along with either the 8500GT or 8400GT (Note - no 8800) will yield a very capable yet efficient platform. Since I'm about ready to start collecting bits for an upgrade, I'm pretty curious. Anyone have more info, or is this too new for experience? (Couldn't find any mobos with the needed 750a or 780a chipsets at my preferred retailer)

This is a bump, but let me add to the (negative) comments regarding the 8500GT - it's one of the only two (8400 is the other) that will be compatible with the Hybrid and that's why I was asking if anyone has any experience with the system?
