of January, 1913, the first 'sedan' automobile was displayed in New York. For the particular reason it's of note to me, who was the manufacturer?

A px of the 1913 factory:
...and a few other presentations that year:
Prior to Hudson Motor Car Company’s Model 54 sedan, automobiles were constructed with either open passenger compartments or convertible tops.
Fifty-five-year-old Rudolf Diesel, inventor of the Diesel engine, leapt from a boat, committing suicide by drowning while crossing the English Channel.
Packard made a milestone step in differential development with the introduction of a spiral-bevel ring and pinion set that cut the noise level produced in the rear axle.
Edward G. Budd received his first big all-steel frame order from Horace and John Dodge.
Mechanical windshield wipers were standard equipment on American cars, even if windshields weren't.
An early version of the turn signal was invented. It consisted of a signaling arm, which was mounted on the back fender. Activated by an electric button on the dash, the arm raised or lowered and would point in the turning direction.
One of the first brake indicators invented, a flag on the back of the car which raised whenever the brake pedal was pressed.
Ford launches the movable assembly line; mass production would go on to revolutionize industrial manufacturing.
Some of these seem rather cool
-- then, some of you would have the directionals pointing with the wrong finger...
Now I'll let you U.K. fellows head off facing the Zulus (18_ _?).
