Starting off with the ones that didn't fit into any of my other categories

This was my first outing with the 100-400.....I'm still learning, but am much happier with the push and pull now, and have found it's sweetspot at around f8....unfortunately it was a bit dark today, but the sun did come out a couple of times making some nice shots (the TAM ones being my favourite of the day)

It was nice to meet Rob, and the chair was recieved gratefully Wink....maybe again sometime, and hopefully a few more people might make it (Omag Wink Wink )

A nice new legacy....someone rides in style  Cool
...

only 3!!!!  though quite an impressive 3 at that....Turkmenistan 757, Eva MD11 and BMI A320 Cheesy
...

Two of my favourites of the day, as the sun came out with the grey sky behind Smiley
...

...

An Arabian royal arrives in his private 737....nice
...

And a DHL bird to finish off with Smiley
...

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
Part 6
Part 7
Part 8
Part 9

Nice enough start Mic. Smiley
The shots where the sun isn't lighting the subjects do look a little underexposed though, maybe best to use a half or full stop of exposure compensation just in case you catch the subject at a time when the sun is away, and if it isn't, then it's easily corrected in post. They do look a bit over-sharpened, but that's easily corrected. Smiley

Love the runway markings reflected in the nose of the TAM  Cool

Looks like the light was unkind to you apart from the TAM shots, looks like you had a good time nonetheless

I was using 3/4 Exposure compensation for the dark ones.....it really didnt help having a blue sky behind for a lot of the time

The oversharpening is probably because I'm used to editing down to about 1500 px wide.....800 exaggerates it a bit...i'll cut down on the USM for the next ones Wink
